The 1969 festival programme is slim, with an abstract design on its cover in the form of orange, purple, green, and white elongated shapes stretching from the top to the bottom of the page. Text is presented in black on the white strip along the right edge of the programme. The back cover is plain white with an advertisement for ‘Hewitt’s Whisky’ stretching across the expanse of the page in the form of a Hewitt’s Whisky bottle. Text below the bottle indicates the range of bottle sizes that are available. <br /><br />The 1969 programme is a slim soft card-bound programme measuring 11cm x 26.5cm. The bind is stapled and it has 60 numbered pages. There is minor wear and tear on the cover. The programme includes articles about the St. Finnbarr Statuette Award (<em>Naomh Fionnbarra</em>), designed by Seamus Murphy (p.5) and a tribute to the American film producer HB Wallis (p.52).

An account of the resource
The 1977 festival programme is slim, with an abstract design on its cover in the form of elongated shapes, in various shades of green, stretching from the top to the bottom of the page. Text is presented in dark brown on the white strip along the right edge of the programme. The back cover is plain white. <br /><br />The 1977 programme is a slim soft card-bound programme measuring 26.5cm x 11cm. The bind is stapled and it has 44 numbered pages. A yellow insert in the programme notes the official opening of the festival by Sheamus Smith, National Film Studios of Ireland, in the presence of Dr Patrick J Hillery, President of Ireland, and Lord Mayor Sean French.

An account of the resource
The 1980 festival programme cover has an image of a green long-neck bottle, ‘spraying’ out white film negatives, in a celebratory fashion against a black background. The writing is limited to a gothic style font on the label of the bottle itself. The back of the programme depicts a line drawing of Cork landmarks including the Cork City Hall, Shandon Tower, Blarney Castle, St Finbarr’s Cathedral, and the Beamish & Crawford factory – the sponsors of that year's festival.<br /><br />The 1980 programme is a slim soft card-bound programme measuring 26.5cm x 11cm.
