At the centre of the programme the designer and the printer are credited. The cost of the programme at 2/- is placed at the lower right corner. The 1959 souvenir programme is a soft card-bound programme measuring 17cm x 24.5cm. The bind is stapled and it has 60 numbered pages. It is has some wear and tear on the cover – particularly around the staples on the spine and the upper left corner.  Notes: The programme contains a number of images and advertisements as well as articles about Cork by TF McNamara (A Changing Landscape), Stephen Coughlan (Ireland’s First Oil Refinery) and Sean Hendrick (International Film Festival of Cork). They are both laughing as Stevens looks down at her notes. Born in 1942, Tate is best known for his role as a pilot in the British-Italian 1970s science fiction television series Space: 1999 (1975-1977) with Martin Landau. Tate also had parts in many Australian and American television shows including The X-Files, Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman, Star Trek: The Next Generation (1990) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1998). His filmography includes parts in Licensed to Love and Kill (Lindsay Shonteff, 1979), Cry Freedom (Richard Attenborough, 1987) and the Japanese heist film Lupin III (Ryuhei Kitamura, 2014). In 2000 Tate provided the voice of a character, Ozzie Mandrill, from the adventure game Escape from Monkey Island (LucasArts). Elaine Stevens is a Cork theatre stalwart who celebrated her 100th birthday in April 2020. Born in Wales she moved to Cork with her husband Alan who worked on the oil refinery in Whitegate. Stevens performed with the Everyman in the Little Theatre in Castle Street, at Father Matthew Hall and at the Palace. In 1967 Stevens won the All Ireland Best Actor Award for her performance in the Sidney Howard-Emlyn Williams play The Late Christopher Bean.
