This is a black and white photo of the Cork qualifying round of the Miss Movie Girl competition. The photo is dated 1975 and notes that this is the ‘evening attire’ segment of the competition. The girls had to qualify from this round to be considered for the national Miss Movie Girl competition and after qualification their pictures would be posted in the Sunday World newspaper, with whom the competition was run in conjunction with.
