This is a black and white photo of the 1956 Cork Film Festival Jury. The eight jury members are grouped formally with five seated at the front with three standing behind them. The seven men are dressed formally in dark suits with bow ties, while the single female jury member, identified at the back of the photo as 'Mrs Byrne Ranelagh', is wearing a long dark dress with a light coloured shawl around her shoulders. The other jury members are identified as Diarmuid Hurley, Denis Johnstone, Bob Walsh, Eddie Jones, Marinucci, Paul Rotha (with a cigar in his hand), and Henri Queffelec.
