The drinks reception was held at the Martini Terrace, an iconic landmark that sits on the top of the 18-storey New Zealand House in London. New Zealand House, built in 1959, is a controversial building being the only skyscraper in this part of London near Trafalgar Square. The terrace was used for receptions and launches and has a view over Trafalgar Square and beyond. In 1992 it was listed Grade II, cementing its place in the architectural history of London.
