This is a signed black and white publicity photo of the English actress and singer Luan Peters. A partially dressed Peters is shown standing whilst looking over her left shoulder towards the camera. The photo is signed and dedicated to the former festival director Dermot Breen: To Dermot, Best Wishes, Luan Peters xx.
Peters (1946-2017), born Carol Ann Hirsch, and also known as Karol Keyes, was known for her television appearances and the Hammer Horror films Lust for a Vampire (Jimmy Sangster, 1971) starring Suzanna Leigh, and Twins of Evil (John Hough, 1971) with Peter Cushing and Mary Collinson. Both Suzanna Leigh and Peter Cushing also came to Cork in the 1970s.
