Sylva Koscina

Sylva Koscina was an Italian actress born on August 22, 1933, in Zagreb, Croatia (then part of Yugoslavia). She began her career as a model and beauty pageant contestant before transitioning into acting in the 1950s.  Koscina starred in more than 70 films throughout her career, including international productions such as "Hercules" (1958) and "Jason and the Argonauts" (1963). She also appeared in Italian films like "La Viaccia" (1961) and "Le Bambole" (1965).  

In addition to her acting career, Koscina was known for her political activism and support of causes such as animal rights and the environment. She passed away on December 26, 1994, in Rome, Italy, at the age of 61.
