This is a stylised black and white photo of three unidentified guests taken at the 1996 festival. They stand together laughing in front of a sign for Murphy’s 41st Cork Film Festival. Two of the guests are wearing lanyards – one of which identifies the wearer as a jury guest. He is also carrying a festival programme with the name ‘Ronan O’Leary’ marked on its cover. O’Leary is an Irish filmmaker who has served on juries in Cork, Berlin, Bosnia, and Croatia.
