The 1987 festival poster is a large pixilated image of a solitary eye against a plain white background. Lines radiate from the line of the eyebrow projecting onto the heading at the upper quarter of the poster. The block typeface is in black with supporting fonts in blue and red. Festival information is presented in blue on a diagonal to the left of the poster. The white background dissolves to grey flecked edging around the poster.
